Beginner Ski Resorts

If you are a complete beginner when it comes to skiing or boarding, you will be wondering which of the plethora of resorts would be best for you. France, America, Slovenia, Canada or even Lebanon! The choice of resort is huge, but the last thing you need while you are trying to learn, wherever you choose, is skiers or boarders cutting you off, stopping quickly, with difficulty and making you feel like you are in the way, or out of control skiers making life on that white stuff a little more scary. You also don't want to find yourself accidentally at the top of some near vertical drop, with the only way down on your nervous skis, or a long slide without them! Fortunately there are many resorts with segregated beginner's slopes to allow you to learn at your own pace, without fear of being "taken out" by someone who should know better and resorts that keep a smile on your face.

There are plenty of areas which are highly suitable for beginners. American resorts tend to be beginner friendly and certain beginner areas are "patrolled" to ensure safety. Some European resorts too, look after the beginners ensuring that a good time is had by all. It is crucial to the wellbeing of skiing, that your first or second trip in the snow, is memorable, for all the right reasons, so you are yearning to return and once more tackle the greens, blues and reds in the quest to become a competent skier or boarder. Being on the piste should be a pleasurable, fun and totally enjoyable experience.
