Neustift boasts an excellent ski resort and is located in a spectacular setting in the broad and lush Stubai Valley. Some of the slopes within this large ski area are open year round, but can become crowded during the summer. With beautiful scenery, mostly easy skiing and plenty to do off the snow, Neustift is a great family venue.

The picturesque and friendly resort of Neustift sits at 1,000m above sea level and features considerable facilities and attractions. A magnificent ornate church is the centrepiece at this traditional Tyrolean Alpine village. The top station on the Stubai Glacier provides a kindergarten for 3- to 12-year-olds.

Neustift has 66kms of pisted runs, with a total of 140kms in the Stubai ski area. The longest run is 10kms and the skiing is suitable mainly for beginners and intermediates, with some black runs also available. Five gondolas, nine chairlifts and 15 T-bars, with a total lift capacity for 36,000 skiers per hour, are among the 29 lifts that service the area.

About 8,000 beds in every type of accommodation are offered at Neustift, including: luxury hotel/resorts to bed-and-breakfasts, guesthouses and private lodgings. An excellent range of over 70 restaurants makes up some of the quiet nightlife and après-ski at Neustift, though there is a variety of lively bars for those wanting a little apres ski activity, with Harrys bar,Dorf pub,American bar,Hully Gullys and Zwickl bar being amongst our favourites.

Around 140kms of unlinked pistes are accessible via the Innsbruck Glacier Pass, which also encompasses Fulpmes and Telfes. A delight for wandering, Fulpmes and Telfes retain a charming old Tyrolean atmosphere. Around 45 minutes away by public bus lies the historic city of Innsbruck, making an ideal daytrip for the non-skier.

Year round skiing is available at Neustift im Stubaital with winter, spring and autumn offering special packages. Flying to Innsbruck and hiring a car, taking a transfer,or taking the free Skibus (between October and May) is the most convenient way of getting to the resort.
