Tremblant is probably the most colourful ski town in North America  and offers atmospheric ski experience that you wont forget. This pretty ski town is located in the Canadian province of Quebec, with cobbled streets and quaint houses. But while the Laurentians are some of the oldest mountains in the world, Tremblant, which is a well designed ski-in, ski-out, using clever reconstruction, offering unique buildings, is unashamedly new and brash! Nothing quite like this Europe and an ideal family resort for 5 to 7 days, with possibly a night in historical Montreal too!

Tremblants four mountain faces - Versant Sud,Nord,Soleil and Edge - provide some of the most extensive skiing in Eastern Canada. It has an elevation of 875 metres with 655 acres of skiable terrain. There are 94 trails of which 17% are beginner, 33% intermediate and 50% expert. The Ski school is exceptional with the exhilarating Double Black group for all those adults who think they can do everything, but need to be challenged, through to the nurturing Pee Wee group for 3 year olds where the instructors make it the most exciting week your little child has ever had in the snow. For beginners there are two magic carpet elevators which will take you up the two nursery slopes where you can explore new techniques.

The ski season runs from mid-November to mid-April. There are no huge lift queues, plenty of uncrowded pistes and lots of places to stop for lunch or refreshments. The gondola to the top at the Grand manitou is open all summer for those who just wish to admire the view or to bring up or down weary walkers who have been exploring it's numerous trails.Tremblant is also the perfect vacation home for golfers. Le Geant and Le Diable are fantastic courses with challenging designs and stunning scenery. The Mont Tremblant Golf Academy, which rivals the best golfing academies in North America, is there to help you learn to play or improve your game should you so require. The summer months offer bright sunny days with fresh green courses maintained to an exceptional standard. Golf buggies & clubs are available for hire.

Repeatedly voted the ‘Best Resort in Eastern North America for 14 years’ by the Ski Magazine, a ski holiday in the slope-side pedestrian village of Tremblant is a complete immersion in the unique culture of French-speaking Quebec with the added bonus of of Canadian & French cuisine. Mont Tremblant offers great variety of skiing on its well groomed runs. The resort is also known as ‘the Disneyland of winter ski’ with lots of activities for skiers and non-skiers alike in the pedestrianised village. The village offers a good choice of bars, shops and restaurants and offers quite a lively nightlife to boot.Yes a great choice for a week to sample what the friendly Canadians can offer.
