Not so much really do with skiing, but more looking at "add ons" or as a stand alone holiday, with or without skiing in Tahoe or Mammoth. Many take advantage of our knowledge and help to discover some of the best of California and SOME add on a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to San Diego stopping off at Monterey, Carmel, San Luis Obispo, Big Sur,Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and San Diego, flying into San Francisco and out of Los Angeles or San Diego.

Yes the theme parks at Universal,Disney and Seaworld all have their attractions but the 17 Mile drive from Monterey, beaUtiful Carmel, the stunning beachside town of Santa Barbara, (often the base for Whale watching), Malibu Beach, superb Santa Monica, the boardwalk at Venice Beach, marvellous Marina Del Ray and stunning La Jolla at San Diego, all help in discovering some of the outstanding sights and holiday options that California offers. The hard part is deciding how long to stay and how many nights in each town.Three weeks may not be enough but we can recommend add ons to ski trips from 3 days onwards outside San Francisco, which apart from Fishermans Wharf and Alcatraz is also the entry for the Californian wine region.
