Description

Chalet Brûlé was built in 2016 and is  in a quiet location in Châtel on Route des Freinets yet just 270m from Club Piou Piou ski school, village des Marmottons, for children run by the ESF. This spacious detached chalet is approximately 700 metres away from the nearest ski lift, the Télécabine du Linga. This gondola is easily accessible by the free ski bus if you prefer not to walk, which conveniently stops just 50 metres away from the chalet. This ski bus runs about every 20 minutes. With the Télécabine du Linga you have easy access to the pistes towards Avoriaz and Morzine. The Linga / Pré la Joux area also connects over to the Super-Châtel pistes, which provides access to the Swiss  area of Les Portes du Soleil. In normal snow conditions it is possible to ski back to about 300 metres from the chalet, making it an easy walk back even in ski boots.

The ski bus also takes you to the centre of Châtel about 1500m away, where a wide range of shops, restaurants and après-ski bars can be found. Within a radius of 200 meters from the chalet you will find a small grocery store, bakery, sports shop and children’s ski school. You can also visit the Forme d’O Centre Aquatique with its excellent indoor pool.

Chalet Brûlé is very spacious at 200m2, spread over 2 floors and is luxuriously and comfortably furnished as you would expect from a 4 star chalet. It includes a wellness area with a sauna as well as its own outdoor jacuzzi on the terrace, great to relax in after a day on the slopes, in the bubbles, with a glass of bubbles perhaps! Cars can be parked directly at the chalet if driving here and there is one covered parking space. The chalet can sleep up to 14 people.

The spacious living room is located on the ground floor and has a sitting area with wood-burning stove, TV, Blu-ray player and CD player, a large dining table and a fully equipped open plan kitchen with stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. On the first floor there is a second living area with a 2-person sofa bed, TV and Blu-ray player. This chalet also has a wellness area with sauna and shower, terrace with outdoor whirlpool and garden furniture, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, ski storage with a ski boot dryer, under floor heating and a balcony.

On the ground floor you’ll find one bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.

The first floor has the remaining four bedrooms. There are two triple bedrooms with three single beds in each and with an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. There are then two bedrooms with a double bed in each plus a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. All the single beds can be made up as doubles and all bathrooms have a hairdryer and towel dryer. The chalet is offered on a superb catered half board basis or on a self catered basis to suit.
