Chalet Altitude V

Description

Chalet Altitude V is another luxury 5 bedroom chalet apartment we have,  for up to 10 people and like Chalet Altitude IV  is located in the Altitude residence in the upper part of the village, next to Val 2400 and opposite Les Balcons the Val Thorens. The residence is a popular choice as it has a swimming pool and sauna which guests can use on a complimentary basis. This excellent option is also available on a half board basis, as well as self catered or even a great value “catered” delivery service. (Further details on request).

The slope runs right above the apartment, which makes it possible to ski back to about 50 metres away from the door, though not on a marked trail. Offering a convenient location, the supermarket is just 50 metres away and if you haven’t selected the half board option, a morning fresh bread delivery service for breakfast is also possible via the reception. There are a number of restaurants and bars to be found within a distance of just 50 metres. The rental shop is next to the reception, so the equipment you might need to rent can be picked right there, though we have more options in Val Thorens.

The centre of Val Thorens is only 300 metres away, walking down from the building and has all facilities necessary to ensure you have a great time. The free ski bus to and from the centre of Val Thorens is also found just 20 metres away if you prefer not to walk, whatever the reason. All ski lessons normally start in the lower part of Val Thorens so any complete beginners can reach the meeting point via a very short ride on the ski bus and those who have skied before can take the easy blue slope down.

Chalet Altitude has a private garage if driving here and parking places can be prebooked in advance for an additional fee of Euro 75.00 per week. The height of the garage is 2.10 meters, just in case you have a roof box. Public parking P0 of Val Tho Parc is also an option and situated at about 150 metres from Chalet Altitude (to be arranged online: www.valthoparc.com)

As regards the chalet accommodation itself then the chalet is a 120m2 duplex apartment over 2 floors. You have a well decorated and quite spacious living room with a wood burning fire place, lovely and comfy sitting area, dining area and satellite TV. The open plan kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, four hotplates, oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge/freezer. The chalet has a lovely balcony too to watch the world go by and take in those awesome views. There is also a ski locker with ski boot dryers and of course the chalet has the obligatory and complimentary Wi-Fi. There are five bedrooms, of which three have twin beds and two bedrooms each have a double bed, all serviced via the five bathrooms, with three having a shower and two having baths.
