Ideally located on the ski slopes of the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine, Chalet Cimes is in the Altiport area and offers you with the perfect ski-in, ski-out accommodation. The 200m2 chalet is exclusively located in a quiet but convenient area, slightly higher up the mountain approximately 300m from the Berger complex and approximately 800m from the centre of the Alpe d’Huez itself, where there are numerous bars, restaurants and boutiques, as well as a swimming pool, leisure centre, ice rink and cinema.

The chalet is a short walk from Les Bergers complex, where you will find ski hire shops, cafes, bars, a supermarket and a boulangerie which opens from 7am. The free shuttle bus runs frequently to the resort centre. So from here you can ski direct from your front door to the gentle slopes bordering the resort, which are ideal for beginners. More experienced skiers can venture straight out to the lifts at Les Bergers, giving you direct access to the larger Alpe d’Huez ski area and the 14km black run, La Sarenne, the longest in Europe

Well furnished, the chalet is decorated in traditional Savoyarde style, with a large fireplace, wood and stone interior and deep colours giving the rooms a warm feel. There is plenty of space in all of the rooms, with a large open-plan living area with a wood burning fireplace and satellite TV.

You will find an American style kitchen with all the modern amenities, including hotplates, an oven and a microwave oven, a dishwasher, extractor fan and fridge/freezer, plus all crockery and pans, which allows guests to cook and eat as and when required. The chalet offer guests total comfort and space, sleeping up to 15 people, with 7 en-suite bathrooms and toilets (5, 6 and 8 bedroom also available with similar set up). The chalet offers a private balcony/ terrace providing panoramic views of the mountains plus a private sauna in which to unwind.

All chalets can be booked either catered or self catered and come with a fully-equipped American-style kitchen, giving guests the freedom to cook meals or eat out at the selection of restaurants in the resort. Our chef though is superb offering restaurant quality food. There are a number food shops within walking distance and the centre of the resort is just an 800m walk or free shuttle bus ride away 

From high-end restaurants to casual pizzerias and mountain hot dog cafés, Alpe d’Huez offers plenty of variety for places to eat. When the sun sets, Alpe d’Huez is just waking up. Enjoy a good selection of places to unwind or party, from pubs to live music and clubs that stay open until the early hours of the morning.
