This unique and outstanding Morzine chalet is perfectly located in a quiet area only a snowball’s throw from the pistes and the centre of town, which lies at the heart of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area. It sits just off the Pleney slope, in the exclusive hamlet of Les Nantes and guests can ski in and out within just a few metres’ walk.

Chalet iGloo’s interiors are tasteful, making it one of the coolest luxury ski chalets in the Portes du Soleil. It was designed by a local architect and there are fabulous touches throughout, from the bespoke Morzine dining table hand painted in the resort’s own colours by the owner herself to a giant black polar bear cabinet for glasses and a vast 200-year-old quilt from New Mexico hanging on the wall. There is also a dramatic, back-lit giant photo of a mountain scene that lines the stair well, as well as fantastic art throughout.

The owner is a passionate art collector and also an artist herself, and many of the pieces are bespoke for the chalet, others are by local artists, while the rest are taken from her collection of artwork from around the world. The chalet also has huge expanses of glazing and a double height living area with vast views.

Children too would adore the chalet. They have their own cute bunk room, sledging is possible on the nearby ski slope, early adult-free teas can be organised, plus the chalet has children’s DVD’s, traditional board games and a Playstation in the cinema room. It can also source wooden cots for the rooms as well as all the usual baby paraphernalia.

The chalet benefits from sunshine all day with views over Morzine and down the valley from this small hamlet with the chalets specification being exceedingly high and very rare to find in the area. The chalet is arranged over 3 split levels with a lower ground floor which is a vast.

Ground floor: Entry hall, Open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area with vaulted ceiling opening onto a large terrace area.
First Floor: 2 large double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. (twins or a king)
Second Floor:2 large double bedrooms, with vaulted ceilings, with ensuite bathrooms. (twins or a king) Further bedroom with a 3 person bunk bed.
Lower Ground: Large ski and boot room, Cinema Room, Wine Cave, Gym with Shower and Sauna, Utility room, Storage room.

There are 2 terraces externally with further storage rooms and covered parking.
Situated just off the Route des Nants, one of the few locations in Morzine with the ability to ski in and ski out to the end of the road where the chalet is situated.The chalet commands a fantastic position a mere 5 minute walk from the centre of Morzine.  Beds are made at arrival, cleaning included during the stay and at the end. Local tax and damage deposit asked at arrival with the chalet being offered on either a self catered or catered half board basis.
