Description

Chalet Dorma is located in the Vonnes area of Châtel, nicely located between the Portes du Soleil and Gabelou chairlifts and the Super Châtel gondola  lift, all three being approximately 800 metres away. To get to the lifts without walking, every 30 minutes the free ski bus which stops 75m away from the chalet goes to the ski lifts and the centre of Châtel, which conveniently is only 500m away. The Super Châtel cabin lift takes you into the ski slopes of Châtel, which connects to the Swiss part of Les Portes du Soleil. The Portes du Soleil and du Gabelou lifts connect you with the Linga / Pré la Joux ski area, which is connected to the slopes of Avoriaz and beyond.

About a 500 metre walk away you will find the lively centre of Châtel, where you will find a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops, but also a childcare centre, ski schools and a wellness centre with swimming pool. The chalet can be booked either self catered or on a catered half board basis, if we have a chef available.

The private sauna and outdoor hot tub of chalet Dorma offer you a welcoming relaxation area after an eventful day in the mountains. The chalet also offers a wood-burning stove which throws out a lot of heat. Parking spaces for 3 to 4 cars are also available at the chalet, if driving here and don’t forget snow chains are mandatory in France and may be needed to reach the chalet.

This chalet is spread over three floors and is spacious at 190m2. The living room has a comfortable sitting area with satellite TV and DVD player, fireplace, large dining table and a well equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher and kettle. Furthermore, this chalet has the private sauna, outdoor whirlpool, a washing machine, ski boot dryer, ski storage room, Wi-Fi and a terrace.

There are five bedrooms in total: two with a double bed, two with two single beds (which can be pushed together) and a family room with a 4-person bunk bed (two double beds on top of each other). There are four bathrooms each with a shower and three separate toilets.
