Description

Les Chalets du Thorens IV is one of a number of apartments in Val Thorens offering a fantastic ski in ski out solution on either a self catered or catered half board basis. From its unique location directly on the slopes you just click into your bindings and off you go!. You can ski down for 100 metres to the Modaine chair lift that will take you to the Glacier de Thorens. You can also choose to ski down to the village  750 metres away where you can take several ski lifts to explore the whole Les Trois Vallées ski area.

Les Chalets du Thorens has several on the piste-restaurants with terraces, such as a pizzeria, a Chinese wok restaurant and a more traditional self service restaurant. As a guest staying in Les Chalets du Thorens you can enjoy a meal in the restaurants at a reduced price or we can also arrange half board, for at least 4 persons and room service. The résidence also has a great après-ski bar where parties and gatherings are arranged. Ski schools, ski rental shops, supermarkets, several other shops and bars can be found in the centre of Val Thorens. 

Résidence Les Chalets du Thorens has eight well-kept apartments, for 2 to 12 persons. All apartments have a Wi-Fi internet connection and every apartment has a private ski locker in the communal ski storage at their disposal. There is a communal area with a sauna and fitness equipment, that guests can use free of charge.

In the car-free Val Thorens village you have to park your car at one of the many public parking lots or one of the parking garages inside the village (to be booked in advance via www.valthoparc.com, until 1 week before arrival). It is advised for Les Chalets du Thorens to park at the P2. 

The résidence can be reached by a short walk, on skis or by snowmobile (on request at the reception and outside opening hours of the ski slope: free of charge from 08.00 to 08.45 hours, at 17.45, 18.30 and at 19.30 hours and later a surcharge is required). After 20.00 hours and the whole night long it’s possible to reach the centre of Val Thorens or the residence by snowmobile for € 5,00 per person (minimum 2 persons – reserve at the reception every day before 18.00 hours).

Layout

In this apartment we have a living room with a double sofa bed, TV and a dining table. You have a well equipped kitchen with hotplates, a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and a dishwasher. The second living area has a comfortable sitting area with a TV. The apartment also has a Wi-Fi, a ski locker and a balcony facing West.

For sleeping then two bedrooms have a double bed, one bedroom has a single bed and the 4th bedroom is a mezzanine area with a double bed. There are then two bathrooms, each with a bath, shower attachment and toilet.The maximum allowed occupancy is 8 people.
