Description

Chalet Fox is nicely located off Rue du Chatelard in the Chatelard area of Val d’Isère, enabling you to  ski down to the centre and the main lifts every morning. This quality 6 bedroom chalet has been renovated to a high standard resulting in an interior blend of warm pine panelling and beamed ceilings, with contemporary fixtures, furnishings and modern touches such as the flat screen TV and Wifi. The view from the generous terrace off the lounge is a particular feature, providing fabulous mountain vistas. All the 6 bedrooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are particularly well-fitted, with fresh white tiling, chrome fittings and mirrors and heated towel rails.

Ski access could hardly be easier; just a 300m walk before you ski out on the blue Santons run straight down into the resort centre for your choice of lifts each day and return on this run too via the Epaule du Charvet black run or the red Piste ‘M’. Alternatively the free ski bus stops within 100m for access to the resort centre which is 10-12 minutes’ walk away. Offered on a sole occupancy basis only either self catered or with a superb catered half board option to suit.

Chalet catering

If booked on a catered chalet basis, your holiday will include a cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee and cakes, and a 3/4 course evening meal including a choice of complimentary, quality wines followed by coffee on 5 evenings.

Chalet comments

We had a superb stay – beautiful interior, ski in and out and all but one ensuite – made a great setting for our group of 12. We will be back!

A fantastic chalet with every facility you could want. Not in the centre of Val but the free shuttle bus worked fine. Simon was really helpful with our questions pre-arrival and even rang us mid week to make sure we were happy with everything.

We have just had a great stay at this chalet. Completely renovated with taste and an excellent location in the hamlets of Châtelard (10 min from the centre). We had a great week. We felt at home from the first minute. We have known Val d’Isère for a long time but this is our first time at Le Chatelard. We highly recommend and will be happy to come back!

Excellent family stay in this pleasant chalet. The presence of a bathroom per room is a real plus. Very pleasant sunny terrace for lunch, almost on skis. The chalet is well laid out and very well equipped. Communication with the owner is easy and pleasant. We will come back.
