Surrounded by trees, Chalet Ilulissat is one of three chalets that make up Le Hameau de Marcandou and is ideally located in a private and quiet area of Courchevel 1550, on Rue des Grangettes. Though quiet its just 500 metres from the Grangettes lift and the slopes, with a complimentary shuttle service to and from the lift offered, ensuring walking isn’t the only option. The centre of Courchevel Village is also approximately 500 metres away from the chalet. Once here, guests have access to the village’s local convenience stores and ski shops, as well as a selection of local restaurants. For more choice, the Grangettes gondola operates daily until 11pm, so you can experience the range of luxury boutiques, designer shops and multitude of gourmet restaurants that the luxury ski resort of Courchevel 1850 has to offer. The free Courchevel navette connects to the other villages, should you wish to explore further.

Set over two floors, this wood and stone 150m2 chalet has been beautifully renovated with a blend of opulent textures and raw finishes. Many objects have been repurposed and there is an overarching forest theme throughout with the added luxury of an outdoor heated pool for your complimentary use (shared between the 3 chalets).

The entrance to the chalet leads you along a corridor to a spacious ski room where you can store your gear. A staircase takes you up to a spacious open-plan living area with stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a balcony at one end. A modern fireplace is at the heart of the space with comfortable sofas and armchairs to relax on and a charming dining area with bench-style seating on one side. Meals can be prepared by yourselves or with our chef, in the fully-fitted and contemporary kitchen opposite. The chalet is cleaned daily and there is a ski and boot room with ski boot heaters.

Chalet Ilulissat has three en-suite bedrooms – a striking master suite on the upper level and two twin/double bedrooms on the lower level with this level also having the TV/Cinema room with a Playstation which can be used as a 4th bedroom with 2 single  beds. The master suite opens onto the balcony and has a whirlpool bath. The chalet can sleep up to 8 people and on arrival at the chalet you will be welcomed with champagne. Beds are made up ready for your arrival with towels, bed linen and all cleaning (apart from the kitchen) included. A great choice.
