Chalet Inuit is located in the private estate of Petit Alaska, Val d’Isere and is built into the side of the mountain and set over four floors. This quality and spacious 5 bedroom, 220m2 chalet, offers ample space for a large group of up to 12 guests (including 2 children in bunk beds).

The chalet, on Chemin du Petit Alaska, is a short 5-6-minute drive from the Solaise Express gondola lift, with a complimentary private shuttle service provided. It is also a 3-4-minute drive or 15 minute walk from the town centre. Val d’Isere is perfect for groups of mixed abilities as there’s something for everyone, from beginners to advanced skiers, it’s famous for a reason. Val d’Isere is also known for its alpine charm and picturesque scenery.

Chalet Inuit is an attractive, traditional chalet marrying elements such as wooden panelling with contemporary design. On the first floor you will find the entrance, which is beside a ski and boot room so you can conveniently grab your boots and skis as you leave for your day on the slopes. The upper ground floor is home to a family room including two single beds and a bunk bed. On the same floor is the inviting open plan kitchen and dining area. A stunning wood-burning fireplace is at the centre of the living area, the perfect place for conversation with a glass of wine or maybe watching your Apple TV. There is also a balcony on this floor to appreciate those awesome mountain views.

The lower ground floor houses two en-suite twin bedrooms and the wellness area, where you can find a smart sunken indoor hot tub, a sauna and a rain shower. On the second floor there are two double bedrooms each with their own en-suite shower. Both these bed rooms share a single WC. All the bedrooms are comfortable and come equipped with a TV.

The chalet price normally includes a ‘contactless catering’ service: As well as the rental of the chalet your food and drink for the week is provided and your cupboards and fridge stocked for your arrival. Included will be breakfast, snacks to take with you skiing, afternoon tea and cakes/snacks, pre-dinner eats plus a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights (this also includes a selection of after dinner cheeses, plus champagne for your first night, a kir for before dinner and unlimited wine and some beers). A delicious menu for the week is pre-planned, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal. Resort staff will also visit your chalet mid-week to give it a full clean and change of towels and bed-linen. However, this is done during the day when you’re out on the slopes.

If you prefer the freedom to choose your own meals or you prefer to eat out more than one evening during the week, or you just love to cook. This is where the à la carte contactless catering service comes in. A little cheaper you could order the food and drink of your choice (pre-bought on your behalf at the local hypermarket prices). The costs for any food and beverages ordered you will pay locally. Four days before arrival in resort you will receive a comprehensive provisions list with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. From oven-ready meals to the ingredients you need for Bolognaise, soufflés or cheese fondues. Dry goods, dairy, fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat or fish, beers, wines, champagne, or anything else is all bought for you and stocked in your chalet in advance.
