Chalet Kal is a great value 3 star ski in ski out chalet, ideally located on Schmittenweg, only 150m away from the base station of the Schmitten cable car and a short walk from the other 3 lifts here. Right behind the house is the ski run from the Schmittenhöhe to Zell am See, so you can ski directly to and from the chalet.
The bus stops right in front of the door and takes you into the centre of this lovely village, about 1.5km away. Its an easy walk downhill, but a slower walk back uphill! There is a large covered terrace and parking for 3 vehicles if driving here. Walk to a few bars, hotels and restaurants. The interior of the chalet is typical Austrian style with a large, comfortable living area and tiled stove. The Chalet with 210m² living space, hosts 16 people and offers the following layout and facilities:

First floor:
2 double bedrooms with bathroom and WC for a total of 4
2 double bedrooms each with a set of bunk beds, bathroom and WC for a total of 8

Ground floor:
Double bedroom with a separate bathroom and WC for 2, well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc.
Living area has comfy seating for up to 10 and has satellite TV,

Basement:
Double bedroom linking to a small bedroom via an open alcove, so ideal for 2 adults and 1 or 2 young children.
Bathroom and WC (in the hallway).

The chalet sleep a max of 16 and can be offered on a catered half board basis, as well as a self catered basis.

Security deposit of € 500 fully refundable and payable at check in, on arrival. We do get good feedback from guests staying here so early booking is recommended with rates quoted being on a catered half board basis.
