We think you would struggle to find a better base for a convenient ski holiday than this 4 star rated, 5 bedroom Chalet l’Enfants, situated in a private drive just a seven minutes walk from the centre of La Clusaz…or about 500m (and just a minute on skis!). The chalet is far enough from the village to enjoy the tranquility of the mountains, but close enough to take advantage of the bars, restaurants and other facilities.

Conveniently the free ski bus stops less than 100m away from the chalet and it is only a few steps further to the Nant piste, so you will not waste any time getting on to the slopes and over to the ski school at Bossanet. The chalet is semi-detached and set over four floors, with stair gates and baby equipment for families with young children. The chalet would be an ideal choice for two families holidaying together, or a group of friends and can be booked self catered, with half board catering or even part catered to suit.]

The chalet can sleep up to six adults and four children in the five bedrooms (all with a TV and English and French satellite channels), ensuring there is plenty of room to find your own space. There are three double bedrooms, two twin rooms and three well-appointed bathrooms Two families will find this an ideal base as there are two separate living rooms to have an element of privacy if needed or allowing the kids to play in one lounge area. In the evenings, the kids may be happy to watch films, listen to music or play computer games around the funky ethanol fireplace downstairs, while the adults relax around the open fire in the living area upstairs.

The large kitchen and dining room are also open plan, so cooking dinner can be a sociable affair and maybe more so if you use our own chef! Furniture is modern and practical, with leather sofas, fur throws and natural wood, complemented by contemporary art and lighting. There are two sunny balconies and two terraces, one of which has a jacuzzi with stunning views over the pistes – the perfect place to watch the sun go down on a fun-filled day in the Aravis, avec perhaps with something bubbly in your hand !

The Aravis ski pass will give you access to more than 200km of snow-sure pistes in La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod and there are plenty of cross-country trails to discover, too. Non-skiers will have no time to be bored, with an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you are looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the heated outdoor pool in the village, while the snow falls gently around you and maybe our chef is cooking your evening meal. Whatever, we are certain you will have a fabulous time staying here.
