Description

Chalet Marie is a unique and spacious large 12 bedroom chalet, nicely located in the friendly village of Villaroger, about 100m from the slopes and 200m from the chairlift Le Replat, which you would start from to get you up to Arc 2000. Villaroger is part of the large Les Arcs ski area with over 200 km of slopes, plus an additional 225km of slopes with La Plagne which together combine to form the interconnected Paridiski area. In normal snow conditions you can ski right back to your doorstep! Evolution2 is the ski school which starts from Villaroger.

Villaroger itself is a small village, situated at an altitude of 1,200m, where you will find two restaurants, and bars, one of which is 50m from the chalet. More amenities you will find in the village of Sainte Foy about 4 km away. The chalet can be booked on a catered half board basis, or self catered to suit. If the latter you can order a morning fresh bread delivery service from one of the restaurants in Villaroger.

The unique chalet Marie has a rural, luxury, yet rustic and comfortable atmosphere, offering welcoming spa facilities to relax during your winter sports holiday. Enjoy bubbling away in the outdoor jacuzzi,  or heating up inside in the sauna or by the wood burning stove. The chalet also has a balcony, terrace with sun loungers, heated ski storage with a ski boot dryer, washing machine and Wi-Fi. If driving here there is parking for 6 cars at the chalet. Other cars can be parked on free public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

There are several spacious sitting areas to enjoy, a wood burning stove (pellets), TV with Netflix, Blu-ray/DVD player, a large dining area suitable for 26 people and a small bar with two refrigerators. There is a well equipped kitchen with hotplates, two refrigerators, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Furthermore there is an outdoor Jacuzzi (suitable for 4-6 persons) and a sauna (also suitable for 4-6 persons) with shower and toilet, heated ski storage room with a ski boot dryer, washing machine, Wi-Fi, balcony and a terrace with sun loungers.

There are twelve bedrooms in total, all with a TV:
Six bedrooms with two single beds;
Four bedrooms with double bed;
Two family bedrooms each with two single beds and a bunk bed.
Please note: two bedrooms on the ground floor are only accessible from the outside (via the covered entrance).

There are eleven bathrooms, of which nine have a shower and toilet and two have a bath and toilet.  Ten of the bathrooms are en-suite with two bedrooms sharing one bathroom, which has a separate toilet. Although the chalet can sleep 28,  the maximum standard occupancy is 26 people. Two extra persons may be allowed though on request. An excellent option if you have a large group, made more convenient as the ESF ski school are also based here, so ski school meet less than 100m away.
