Chalet Melusine is a spacious 200m2, quality and atmospheric 6 bedroom ski chalet, situated by the slopes in the l’Altiport Chalets area of Alpe d’Huez. The chalet has been built with the internal use of lots of quality reclaimed wood which creates a traditional appearance and its own unique atmosphere. The chalet has its own terrace and a balcony and about 500 metres from the chalet some of the ski shops, bars and cafes are situated at “the Berger complex” as is the small airport of Alpe d’Huez, which the chalet overlooks.

The “Berger Complex” can be reached by the easy green slope and is a perfect choice for any beginner skiers or boarders.There are safe sledging slopes immediately outside if you have children. The lifts and the ski school are easily and quickly accessible from this excellent chalet base and there is a free shuttle running up until 6pm if you prefer not to walk or ski and would be useful to get to the ice rink and centre of Alpe d’Huez.

There is a cosy and spacious living area, with a comfortable corner sofa that is positioned around the fire place which extends to a second seating area just outside. The third and smaller separate seating area has two sofas, a television, radio with CD-player, a DVD-player. There is an open plan dining area with a large table for 12 persons and a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hotplates, a fridge, microwave, 6 burner oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, raclette set, toaster and a second smaller dining table. Great with any kids who will love the place. The chalet also has a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer and there is a ski storage in the garage.The chalet has complimentary WiFi throughout.

There are six bedrooms, three with a double bed en suite and three with two single beds, with one of these en suite. There are four bathrooms in total, one with a shower and WC, one with a shower and one with a bath/shower and a WC and one with a bath and WC. There is a separate WC too on the ground floor. Downstairs, as you enter through the door, there is the welcoming indoor jacuzzi for 6/8, ski storage area and ski boot dryers and a sauna.

The chalet is offered either on a catered half board basis (7 breakfasts and 6 evening meals with wine and beer) or on a self catered basis to suit and bookable on a Saturday to Saturday basis.It is also possible to have an evening meal delivery service, if preferred, as a hybrid option between the two other options.
