Description

Chalet Nomis is a  bright, spacious (over 200m2) and modern 5-bedroom catered ski chalet (in winter, and self catered in summer), spread over three floors. It is a classically-styled chalet, with exposed beams, tiled floors and its own private sauna, offering a great standard of ski accommodation with free car parking for several cars if driving to it. The chalet is well located in the lively ski resort of Morzine, in the Portes du Soleil and is offered on a Sunday to Sunday basis, or for a short break for 3 or 4 nights, for couples, small groups or larger parties who want to take the whole chalet.

Offering a large, sunny open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, you’ll find comfy sofas to relax on in front of the fire, a TV/DVD player (bring your own movies), plus a south-facing terrace with outdoor furniture which shows off some lovely views of the mountains.

All 5 bedrooms are well appointed, each with their own en-suite facilities. Twin/double rooms have a shower and WC whilst triple rooms have a corner bath with shower attachment and WC. On your return from a hard day on the slopes, the heat adjustable wooden sauna with adjacent shower is perhaps the perfect place for relaxing in and rejuvenating tired muscles!

The chalet is found in a quiet area of Morzine on Route de la Plagne, approximately a 15 minute walk from the centre of Morzine. Conveniently, the ski bus stops just across the road from the chalet and is less than a 5-minute ride to the centre or to the Super Morzine gondola to ski Avoriaz and beyond into Switzerland.  The ski bus also goes to the Pleney Gondola to ski over to Morzine &  Les Gets or the Prodains Gondola for Avoriaz, with buses departing every 15 minutes.

Chalet Nomis is a catered chalet in winter which consists of breakfast every morning, afternoon tea and cake and a 3 course evening meal with wine included, all provided by your friendly chalet host who lives in the chalet. Chalet staff have 2 days off a week, a Wednesday and a Saturday. On these days they will leave breakfast and afternoon tea out for you, but the evening meal is not provided, which gives you an opportunity to dine out in the resort, where there are plenty of lovely local restaurants, not to mention an excellent choice of bars and shops.
