Description

Chalet Pitchounes is a magnificent, old and somewhat typical 250m2 farmhouse, but now sympathetically restored into a classy chalet, spread over 3 levels and with underfloor heating. The chalet offers both taste and charm, with modern conveniences such as an outdoor jacuzzi and luxury bathrooms with the chalet being ideally located just 250 meters from the slopes and the Pré-la-Joux chairlift.

The chairlift takes you up to Avoriaz allowing you convenient and easy access to the slopes of the Les Portes du Soleil ski area, with no queues and with the ski school operating from here. The lovely centre of Châtel is located approx 6 km from the chalet and can be reached by the complimentary ski bus, which leaves about every 15 minutes and stops approximately 150 metres away. At about 500 metres, just past the chairlift, you will find a ski sports shop, restaurant/bar and a toboggan run. The chalet is offered on a self catered or catered basis to suit on a Saturday to Saturday basis.

You will enjoy relaxing in the comfortable living area with satellite TV and DVD player and warming pellet stove, opening into the spacious dining area with a large dining table for up to 14 and modern and well equipped designer kitchen with a stove, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle, fondue set, toaster, raclette set and dishwasher. To complete this superb chalet there is an outdoor hot tub to soak in, Wi-Fi, a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and extra freezer, a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer, balconies and a furnished terrace.

As for the sleeping arrangements there are seven bedrooms, each with a double bed or two single beds and six bathrooms (of which five are en-suite), of which one has a bath, shower and toilet and five have a shower and toilet each, plus there are two separate toilets. Check out the layout below.

Chalet Layout :

Ground floor:

Large entrance hall and 5 bedrooms each with their own private bathroom. Bedroom 1 has 2 twin beds that can create a double bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have 2 twin twin beds, with bedroom 5 having a double bed. There is also an independent WC on this level.

First floor:

Spacious open plan area of 110m² with fitted kitchen open to the dining room and lounge area with pellet stove. Access to the beautiful terrace and the balcony on the same level. Independent WC.

Upper floor:

Large mezzanine and 2 bedrooms each with 2 twin 90 x 200 beds, balcony access. Bathroom with shower plus bath, WC.

Garage for 2 cars with equipment for skiing (ski boot dryer, ski rack), extra parking. Laundry room with washer and dryer.Outdoor Jacuzzi included, with no extra charge.
