Chalet Sophie is conveniently located just below the centre of Les Menuires and is only 25 metres from an easy blue ski slope, enabling this to be classed as ski in ski out chalet option. From this slope you can ski to the Tortollet chairlift and the Rocher Noir cabin lift. The Tortollet chairlift takes you, in a few minutes, to the centre of Les Menuires, where ski lifts leave for the Col de la Chambre and the 3 Marches. From here you can go further into the Les Trois Vallées ski area. The gondola lift Rocher Noir takes you to the Point de la Masse, where a number of fabulous slopes are located.

You can also walk across the slopes from the chalet and take the ‘Preyerand’ passenger lift to the centre of Les Menuires, where you’ll find a wide range of restaurants with lovely terraces, plus a number of lively bars to enjoy some après-ski. There are also a few supermarkets, general shops, ski rental shops, ski schools, childcare, an indoor pool and wellness facilities in the village. The closest restaurants and ski rental shops are within 200 metres from the chalet.

In total there are 6 chalet apartments and this is the largest, finished only a couple of years ago with the first ones delivered in December 2015. In total there are five chalet-apartments that we rent out; two 5 bedroom apartments, two 6 bedroom apartments and this 7 bedroom apartment. The chalet apartments are all nicely furnished and each has complimentary Wi-Fi throughout and with this option also having three balconies. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom and if driving here there’s a number of free parking spaces.

Just above the chalet and accessible via some steps, is the on piste-restaurant La Ruade. This restaurant, with its large sunbathing terrace and a huge fireplace offers a great menu with local specialties and international dishes. The owners here are family of the owners of this apartment.

This chalet apartment is spread over two floors with the entrance located on the ground floor. On the first floor is the spacious living room, which is furnished with lots of wood and has a beautiful beamed ceiling. The open plan living room is comfortably furnished and has a nice seating area around a wood a burning stove, with satellite TV and DVD player, a dining table for 14 and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge/ freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle.

After the days events have finished and its time to retire there are six bedrooms with two single beds in each, with the 7th bedroom having a double bed. All seven come with en-suite bathrooms, each with a shower and there are three separate toilets. In the entrance there is a ski boot dryer and skis and snowboards can be stored in the private ski locker at the front door.
