Description

This chalet is situated in the heart of the old town centre of Saint Marcel; an old tastefully renovated chalet made from natural stone, that is divided into 3 apartments. The smallest is a 4 person apartment with a living area of 62m² and located on the ground floor of the chalet, in which an infrared sauna (with a shower, washbasin and WC) is also available for all of the chalet’s occupants. Above this lies the two 10 person apartments, each with a living area of 100m², which span both the 1st and 2nd floor. These apartments are accessible with an external staircase.

The apartments can be combined and rented for 24 persons. The ground floor and the first upper floor are connected, but only by the chalet’s external staircase. All 3 apartments’ features include a fireplace (including firewood), satellite TV, stereo system with a CD player, towel dryer in the bathrooms, kitchen and their own ski-closet with a ski-boot dryer. There are 4 private parking spaces (free of charge) also available beside the chalet, with further complimentary parking places close to the chalet.

Skiers can easily use the free ski-shuttle bus 150m away from the chalet, to reach lovely, family friendly Saint Martin, which is about 1km away, where the nearest lift, shops, restaurants, bars and official valley slope are located. An unofficial and relatively easy piste, which is even partly marked, also leads directly into the small idyllic mountain village above Saint Martin, offering an almost ski in location.

A high-end restaurant is also located in Saint Marcel. The “La Bouitte” has already been awarded with 2 Michelin stars and is therefore considered to be an insider’s tip among gourmet diners and would be a good option for those self catering. The chalet can be booked on both a self catered or fully catered basis with a great chef.
