Chalet Taja, St Anton, Austria

Thought to be one of the oldest in Nasserein, Chalet Taja offers some modern features that are often welcome amongst discerning winter sports enthusiasts. There is an outdoor hot tub which appeals greatly to those wanting to soak away in a hot tub, after a day on the slopes, plus there’s also a sauna and its possible to arrange an in-chalet massage too, to further soothe those aching ski muscles.

You can take in the views from a sofa in the living room – or from out on the large terrace, with a glass of something as you enjoy the crisp mountain air. While Taja is peacefully located, the Nasserein gondola linking right into the heart of the St Anton skiing at Gampen is close by. You can be among the first to hit the slopes in the morning. Offered on a catered or self catered basis to suit.

On three floors, the staircase from the entrance hall is set off by an ancient carved banister adding to the chalets unique atmosphere.  The chalet offers 4 bedrooms, 3 en suite with one having its own bathroom adjacent to the bedroom and sleeps up to nine and has a comfortable lounge with seating for all. Three of the bedrooms are twin beds, so are separate and one is a double. The nightlife of St Anton starts in Nasserein with the centre of the village and its more vibrant apres ski, about a fifteen minute walk away, but with a wood burning stove adding to the cosiness of the chalet and with its facilities,  you may not want to leave!
