Description

Chalet Sophia is a spacious and modern 8 bedroom catered chalet laid out over four floors in Tignes les Brévières, with panoramic mountain views. This premium accommodation is located in the village’s Hauts des Brévières area, just a two-minute walk to the funicular-style lift that links you to the main lift station, piste, bars and restaurants.

Sophia benefits from both a traditional Scandinavian-style wooden sauna and a private hot tub on the balcony, overlooking the picture-perfect snowy village, lake and mountains beyond – perfect for soothing your muscles after a long day on the slopes! There is ample storage for skis and boards complete with heated ski boot warmers, so you know your equipment will be ready for action the following day.

The chalet has seven comfortably furnished double/twin bedrooms and one triple bedroom, most of which are ensuite. On the upper level, a bathroom is shared between Rooms 5 and 6 and an additional bathroom is shared by Rooms 7 and 8. Thanks to a lockable adjoining door, rooms 7 and 8 can be used as a family room if required.

With its wood and stone finish, the stylish living/dining area has an abundance of character and a sociable, open-plan layout. Guests can indulge in delicious meals at the large dining table, relax in front of the crackling wood burning fireplace and admire the idyllic views from the communal balcony. Meanwhile, a separate cosy television snug offers UK satellite TV, DVD facilities with a selection of movies, games consoles and a choice of board games.

CATERING

Breakfast includes freshly baked French pastries, baguettes from the local boulangerie, preserves, yoghurt, fruit, and a choice of cereals, with hot options cooked to order five days of the week. On two days a self-serve continental breakfast will be laid out for you.

Afternoon tea includes freshly baked cake, freshly brewed coffee, a selection of teas, hot chocolate, and juices.

Dinner includes a starter, a main course, dessert, and a cheese platter to finish – all accompanied by free-flowing French wine! On one evening dinner will be a two-course Savoyard meal (main and dessert). On the first and last evening, a prosecco and canapé reception will precede dinner.

Packed lunches can be pre-ordered for a small fee each day and will be prepared for collection each morning. All special dietary requirements are taken into account. The chalet is committed to ensuring that all customers have the same exceptional dining experience. Whatever your dietary needs, we’ll be happy to discuss it with you. Children can choose to have a meal earlier if they wish.

One night off per week gives you the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic local restaurants offered in the resort.
