Chamois Volant started life as a traditional farmhouse before being sympathetically renovated and tastefully modernised, thus adding to the chalets atmosphere. The generous use of seasoned timber, exposed stonework and original stone vaulted ceilings gives the chalet a delightfully charming and typically French rustic feel. The sumptuous fabrics adorning the 7 bedrooms, the smart, modern en suite bathrooms and the inspired use of traditionally crafted furnishings throughout have transformed this 19th century stone farm building into a highly desirable catered chalet for groups and families alike.

This unique chalet is ideally placed for the bars, shops and amenities of the resort centre, being very close to the excellent Venosc Plaza and also benefits from being close to the foot of the ski slopes, with the Diable chairlift being only a 250 metre walk away, enhancing the chalets convenient location. The catered chalet is spread over four floors, the ground floor entrance leading into the open-plan living area which is full of the character of the building with its original stone, vaulted ceilings and stone floor. 

The centrepiece of the chalet is a large wood-burning stove around which comfy leather sofas are arranged, creating the most welcoming venue for that well deserved afternoon tea or early aperitif. The cooking facilities are excellent; the dining area has a large wooden table that comfortably seats up to 17 guests in a well-lit room. The stone features throughout the building continuing up, on the first, second and third floors into the well-appointed 7 bedrooms which all have en suite bathrooms.

Warm your boots on the heated boot dryers while you soothe those tired limbs in the Nordic Style Outdoor hot tub on the balcony off the first floor and enjoy the splendid mountain views. There is also a TV and DVD player should you wish to indulge in a movie one evening, or catch up on any programme. You can enjoy delicious coffees at any time with the bean to cup machine provided. Free WiFi is provided and if driving here two parking spaces are available. Offered on a Saturday to Saturday basis with or without flights and transfers.

The open-plan living area has comfortable sofas and armchairs and can accommodate up to 15-17 people on soft seating, with a TV and rustic burning stove.

The kitchen/diner area is well equipped with full-size oven, five burner induction hob, full-size fridge freezer, large dishwasher, microwave, coffee & tea station with a coffee machine and a large rectangular dining table which can accommodate up to 17 people. There is also a separate WC off the lounge.

First Floor:

Large balcony (separate entrance) with Nordic Style outdoor hot tub (New Lazy jet Helsinki hot tub with massage system seating up to 6 people).

Extra Information

Please be aware, en suite bathroom facilities in rooms 1 and 4 are open to the bedroom and are not separated by a door. Beds in rooms 1,2,3,5 and 6 will be made up as twins unless advised otherwise.
