This excellent hotel is based just a two minute walk away from the lake’s edge and 5 minutes from the City Xpress lift, so hitting the slopes is a pretty easy task. The ski school we recommend and the ski hire shop we also recommend is right by the lift too, adding to the convenience and if the kids are 10 and under they get free ski hire to boot.

A classy family-run hotel, the Fischerwirt is awash with charm and history with its 30 en suite double bedrooms and suites and is where you can also enjoy your inclusive and excellent buffet breakfast each morning. There is also an option to pre-book a 4 course dinner.

If you are in need of some r&r during your stay, the hotel has a sauna and infrared cabin to ease those ski-weary muscles. And if you are looking for even more indulgence, you can access the wellness area of the Fischerwirt’s partner hotel across the street, access is based on availability and entrance fee is payable locally. There is a glass passageway connecting the two hotels and you can make use of a heated indoor and outdoor pool, a steam bath, hot whirlpool as well as massages and other treatments.
