Description

The Taj-I-Mah is a 5 star luxury hotel enjoying an enviable location, offering exceptionally ski-in/ski-out convenience at the top of Arc 2000, adjacent to the Cabriolet gondola, which links to Arc 1950. The hotel’s ideal location means it offers great views over the resort and the valley. All of the 48 luxurious bedrooms and suites have a spacious private balcony and superb facilities include a spa.

The hotel name means Crown of the Moon in Hindi, shared with the largest unmounted Indian diamond in the Iranian crown jewels; the Taj-I Mah is the sister hotel of the prestigious Hotel Koh-I-Nor in Val Thorens and Hotel Daria-I-Nor in Alpe d’Huez. All these three Hotels/Apart Hotels offers both discreet luxury and the ultimate in Alpine comfort, the architect making extensive use of traditional materials such as stone and wood and ensuring maximum use of natural light throughout. The Taj-I Mah offers :

There are two restaurants, the gastronomic Diamant Noir offering a creative menu as well as panoramic views over the resort and the Atelier d’Eric, offering family cooking, and specialising in local specialities and grilled meats.

The Taj-I-Mah hotel Lounge Bar is a both a welcoming oasis after a hard day on the slopes and a welcoming oasis warming your yourselves on those cold days, by the open fireplace. Enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine in front of the fire. Before dinner, any children can also choose a non alcoholic cocktail from a menu that the lounge bar team has specially designed for them.

All of the 48 luxurious bedrooms and suites have a spacious private balcony, bathroom and (except Duo Classic and Club rooms) shower and separate wc, Black Diamond welcome products, bathrobes and slippers. All have a flat-screen TV, free wifi, mini-bar, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer and private safe.
