Sonnberg Chalet is a rustic 5 bedroom 3 bathroom chalet,  in a wonderful elevated location, over the village of Zell am See. The views from here are stunning and worth staying here for that reason, if not any other. You can look over the Zeller Lake and ski slopes of the Schmittenhöhe. Yet in just a few minutes you can reach the centre of town.

The chalet is the ideal place to stay for larger families and groups, though bear in mind when any chalet has amazing views it generally means it is up a hill….and Sonnberg Chalet is up a hill, about 1.5km from the centre of Zell am See on Sonnbergstrasse.

There is a private, relaxing sauna available which awaits you after a long days hike or on the ski slopes and if driving here there is parking for 4 vehicles. Snow chains for car tyres are not often needed, but definitely advisable to bring along.

The Chalet, offers around 300m² of space and has the following layout:

Bedroom 3 with double-bed plus 2 x bunk-beds for 6
Bedroom 4 with bunk-bed
Bedroom 5 with double-bed, en-suit bathroom + sauna (Accessible via an outside staircase)
Bathroom 1: en-suite Bathroom with shower and WC
Bathroom 2: with large bath tub, shower and bidet
Bathroom 3: en-suite with shower and WC
Separate WC
Kitchen: well equipped, opening into the dining area with seating for 10 and door on to the balcony.
Laundry room : with washing machine, dryer and ski boot warmer
Large terrace with outside dining table and bar-b-que

Large window front with awesome views over the Zeller Lake
Open fireplace
2 large couches
Bar and large flat screen TV

Stairway up to the entrance door.
