Chalet Athenaise is a first class 6 bedroom chalet, located at the foot of the main pistes offering a ski in ski out option. This is an ideal location for novices as well as more experienced skiers. Homeward bound green, blue and red runs allow skiers of all abilities to ski all the way down to the chalet at the end of day. For convenience, the Chalet Athenaise cannot be beaten with the main ski lifts being only a minute away.

To help you relax even more guests can enjoy free access to the relaxing spa facilities at the Samovar Hotel next door. Make use of the Hammam, Sauna and Jacuzzi, or you could pre-book treatments such as facials and massages.

Chalet Athenaise accommodates up to 12 guests, 8 in four first floor double/twin bedrooms, plus 2 in the ground floor master suite, all of which are en-suite and 2 in the dormitory bedroom which adjoins the master suite and are more suitable for children. All of the bedrooms in this chalet have a flat screen TV with English Freeview and have access to Wifi. Under-floor heating is used throughout the chalet.

Chalet catering (0ptional)

We provide extremely high quality catering which ensures great feedback. You will receive cooked and/or continental breakfast every day, afternoon tea or snacks on 5 afternoons with a 3 or 4 course evening meal served on six days, with pretty much unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.

We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements, as long as we are made aware of them at least 7 days before the start of the holiday.

Breakfast:

A cooked breakfast, is provided on six days each week, as well as a choice of cereals, porridge, eggs, bread, pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit every day, accompanied by tea or coffee and fruit juices. For the health conscious we provide oats and a choice of seeds, nuts and dried fruits to make your own muesli.

Afternoon Tea:

Afternoon tea is normally served from 4.30pm and consists of tea and coffee, wine or beer and a selection of snacks or cakes.

Evening meals:

A three or four course dinner is served for adults at around 7.30pm or whatever time you agree with the chef, accompanied by complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks. Our outstanding chef use top quality ingredients to produce healthy, wholesome meals using fresh meat or fish and vegetables where possible – although naughty but nice items do sneak into the menu! The meal is followed by a choice of hot drinks, including tea 0r coffee, which can be taken through to the lounge for a more relaxed atmosphere.

All guests, including children, usually eat together on the evening of arrival. On all other evenings we provide a simpler 2 course children’s tea at 5.30/6pm for those under 14. On family weeks (Christmas, New Year, Half Term and Easter) children may eat with their parents if desired. The group leader may request that the children eat with the group and agree with the chef. Sample menus can be send and designed according to your wishes to ensure you have a great time and are well and happily fed and watered!!
