Description

Chalet Dorferhaus is an authentic Austrian catered chalet, ideally located right in the lively centre of Gerlos. The Dorfbahn gondola is about 300 metres from the chalet and you’re about 800 metres from the Isskogel gondola, so it only takes a few minutes by car or free ski bus (which stops in front of the door) to get here as well. These gondolas take you directly far into the Zillertal ski area, a perfect starting point to discover the various slopes of this extensive ski area. For beginners there are plenty of wide, blue slopes, but advanced skier will have a great time too.

After a day’s skiing you can take the ski run straight to the attractive centre of Gerlos, which is not called the après-ski capital of Austria for nothing! After a spot of lively après-ski you can then just walk back to the chalet.

The chalet is decorated in the typical Austrian way, including a typical Austrian tiled stove. It is a great chalet to relax in after a day of skiing and it has its own spacious ski storage room. There is a parking lot behind the chalet, with room for three to four cars if driving here. The chalet has free Wi-Fi.

Chalet Dorferhaus is rented out including an extensive catering service. So you don’t have to worry about anything, just enjoy everything the area has to offer! The catering includes:

Breakfast buffet every morning including coffee, tea, fruit juice, baguettes, croissants, cheese, various meats and sweet spreads. Dinners are an extensive 3-course meal served on 6 nights, including soft drinks, juices, beer and wine and coffee or tea after the meal.

Throughout the day, drinks (except spirits) are included so there is no real limit on the wine and beer offered. In the middle of the week the chalet staff has a day off. On this day breakfast is self-service and you are expected to provide dinner at your own expense.

To provide an optimal service, the chalet staff themselves also stay in the chalet. They have their own bedroom and bathroom.

This chalet is spread over 3 floors and has a balcony.

On the ground floor you’ll find the living room with sitting and dining area. The kitchen area includes a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle.

There are six bedrooms, three of which have a double bed or two single beds each and three of which have a double bed and a single sofa bed. In total there are five bathrooms, of which two have shower and toilet, one has a bath, shower and toilet, one has a bath and one has a shower and two separate toilets. Three of the five bathrooms are en-suite to a bedroom. Although the chalet has 15 beds, the maximum number allowed is 14 people.
