Les Balcons de Val Thorens, is well located in the higher part Val Thorens being directly on the slopes and is 500m from the resort centre. It consists of a cluster of 6 chalets forming its own hamlet, which are all traditionally built using wood and stone offering exceptional panoramic views of the mountains. The apartments sleep from 2 to 18 people, making them ideal for larger families or groups of friends. The facilities at Les Balcons de Val Thorens include free access to the quite superb 900m2 Spa with an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and fitness room – massages, facial and body treatments are also available. There is an on site reception with lounge area, complimentary WiFi, a Sherpa mini supermarket with bakery, an excellent bar with a panoramic terrace, private ski lockers & luggage room. Les Balcons also has 2 restaurants. The best apartments here are all within chalets 2, 3 and 4 which offer the most convenient access to the slopes as well as being close to the reception, restaurant and swimming pool. All the apartments though are furnished to a good standard of comfort and convenience. The interior décor is traditional with the use of solid wood and rustic features. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, pyrolytic oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer and a filter coffee maker. All apartments have satellite TV, a telephone and a balcony. The larger apartments with 3 bedrooms or more also have the added benefit of an Austrian wood burner in the living area.

For those wanting THE best quality, as mentioned, you also have a choice of 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 bedroom options at the Les Balcons Platinum apartments. These are higher end apartments offering a higher degree of luxury and consequently a tad more expensive, but with all the same facilities. All theses modern and stylish apartments have been completes to a very high standard of comfort. They have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring ceramic hob, pyrolytic oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric and Dolche Gusto coffee makers. Val Thorens is a part-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then park your vehicle in the residences car park or one of the public car parks in the resort, you are not allowed to park in the street. Les Balcons de Val Thorens has underground parking (max height 2.10m) or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks.
